OUR LODGE

Copper Beech Lodge Wānaka provides guests with a comfortable base from which to explore Wānaka.  It is a contemporary and newly furnished bed and breakfast with two spacious ensuite rooms. A four-minute drive or fifteen-minute walk to the lakefront and township, Copper Beech Lodge Wānaka is set in a private, quiet location surrounded by nature and mountain views. 

 

Copper Beech Lodge Wānaka is just a few minutes’ walk to the popular Maude Tasting Room and Bistro Gentil. There are many other great dining options locally. We’ve been to most of them, so ask us for suggestions!

ABOUT US

Your hosts are Belinda and Simon Wulf. Belinda is a Kiwi, and Simon is from Tasmania.

We have been visiting Wānaka for years and just love it – Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring – every season is spectacular!  Now we are here permanently, we are looking forward to welcoming guests and sharing our affinity for all that Wānaka has to offer.  

Guests at Copper Beech Lodge Wānaka are warmly welcomed and inspired to make the most of their visit. We’re committed to supporting the local community and operating sustainably. The services we engage are local and we’re actively taking steps to reduce our environmental footprint.

We stayed in the Roys Peak room at Copper Beech Lodge Wānaka when Simon and Belinda were preparing to open their bed and breakfast. The room was delightful and they made us feel incredibly welcome, helping us make the most of our time in beautiful Wānaka. We were looking for some rest and relaxation, quality time and a touch of adventure – we weren’t disappointed! Simon and Belinda recommended we dine at Muttonbird and it was a fantastic restaurant experience. We also took a lake cruise and enjoyed a local walk. Breakfast at Copper Beech Lodge was delicious and we made the most of soaking up the quiet, peaceful alpine location. You can’t help but feel this part of the world is a little slice of heaven and we will definitely be back to stay again.

We were lucky to stay at Copper Beach Lodge Wānaka for one week in their preparation for opening. We had such a lovely time and would recommend the accommodation to anyone. Situated a comfortable walking distance from town (with a great little wine room at the end of the street) our accommodation was impeccably clean, modern and comfortable. Our hosts, Simon and Belinda were able to share with us lots of local insights including great places to eat, sights to explore, walking tracks (for our specific fitness and energy levels) and local adventures. On Simon and Belinda’s recommendation, we went mountain biking along the lake – a highlight of our trip. Not only were our hosts accommodating, the food provided was wholesome and delicious. We loved our time in Wānaka!
